Why This Reference Exists
Warrant questions often cross office lines. Saunders County Court handles traffic, misdemeanor, municipal-ordinance, and preliminary felony matters. The District Court Clerk handles felony records after bind-over and maintains criminal filings, judgments, orders, returns, costs, fines, and restitution records. The Sheriff serves process and handles law-enforcement duties, but the official county page does not publish a live warrant roster.
That division is why the pages route a reader to the issuing court first. Nebraska JUSTICE can locate a case, but it is not a live warrant-status database. A docket entry, old search result, or blank screen needs direct confirmation.
What the Pages Include
The reference describes official contacts, search fields, court routing, public-record requests, access limits, scam warnings, and the five largest incorporated places by the 2020 Census table: Wahoo, Ashland, Yutan, Cedar Bluffs, and Valparaiso.
It also explains the boundary between a city citation file and a County Court docket. City pages keep police, village, and clerk information in front while routing the court question to the state trial-court system.
